Artifact Display

This page has a wide variety of artifact displays, from simple to sophisticated, from several museums.  There are a lot of images since these are things that make up the bulk of most museums collections and are what are on display.  Notes accompany images when it seems like a good idea.
As with all of these pages, if anything strikes you as especially interesting and is something you might like to see in our exhibits please make note and let us know.  Apologies for sideways images.  I can't figure out how to flip them yet.

The following are several tabletop collections are from the Dale Chihuly Glass museum at the Seattle Center.  They are simply boxes that hold some of his many collections of 'things" set into tabletops in the cafe there.  Not artifacts but a fun and unusual way to display things of interest.  More decorative than anything.  Not shown are are the 50+  accordions from his vast collection that hang from the ceiling.
